This is how we teach
The adventures of Eno
Let your child meet our characters: Eno, a boy from another planet, and Carmen, a Spanish girl. Through their adventures, your child will learn vocabulary and grammar in a visual, engaging way that will leave them eager to return to the next class.
Our stories and characters have been created exclusively for our ENO school and with the aim of accompanying the child throughout all the thematic units, presenting the content in a fun context and linking it to emotions, so that learning is much more effective.

Our stories and characters have been created exclusively for our ENO school and with the aim of accompanying the child throughout all the thematic units, presenting the content in a fun context and linking it to emotions, so that learning is much more effective.

Through our stories and their characters, we introduce the concepts and then reinforce and practice them
through games and activities of autonomous production, such as worksheets.
The child is involved at all times and can see his/her progress in the content and feel his/her progress.
Our stories give context to the vocabulary, making it difficult to forget, and the characters create a link and common ground between all the units.

Why do we teach Spanish through stories?

It is amazing to see how involved children become with a story. Storytelling requires
children to be active and involved in constructing meaning.
Using short stories makes students develop a creative and constructive understanding of the language, and this encourages and motivates them to continue listening and learning Spanish.
Memorising vocabulary lists is incredibly difficult and boring, and not just for children.
Content is best memorised if it is presented in the form of a story. A story engages us emotionally, provokes feelings and helps us to create a positive connection with the content.
The subject matter of our stories is perfect for children and they offer a wide variety of themes and plots for language work. They stimulate the imagination, offer predictable patterns of repetition, reinforce new vocabulary and structures and stimulate emotional intelligence.
The characters present a context that invites repetition of words and phrases. By working with this content, the student will gradually be able to produce them in an autonomous and natural way. With this method we create a motivating and relaxed context.
With our stories we motivate the child, helping him/her to create a positive attitude towards the learning process, we instil a love of language and we introduce him/her to the Spanish-speaking culture. This humanises and teaches respect for what is different.
Worksheets
With the worksheets based on the contents seen, the child will be able to work in a more detailed way on specific aspects, structures and vocabulary of the unit.
Our worksheets are not boring, they are focused on children, full of attractive images, to work on the grammar and structures of each topic in a very visual way.

Our language games include repetition, so we give the child the opportunity to use the vocabulary learned in different contexts and situations, until he/she eventually feels comfortable using it and it comes naturally to him/her.
Playing is fun. When the child is having fun he/she is much more open to acquiring new knowledge, and learns it more quickly.
We create a relaxing atmosphere in which the child will relate the new language to positive experiences.
We prevent the child from feeling frustration, stress or fear of making
mistakes.
Gamification increases motivation for learning. Children love the game and this generates in them a willingness to learn without generating rejection.
Attention and concentration increases. If it is a challenge and they also like it, the student puts all his/her resources and efforts into the game, favouring his/her own learning.
The child feels involved and feels the need to interact with the language.

Why do we teach Spanish through games?
Through our language games, the child puts into practice and reinforces content.
Our games will require your child to use Spanish, the words and structures we have worked on and he/she will use them unconsciously and naturally.

Routines
All our lessons are surrounded by our start, end and behaviour management routines.
Routines are very necessary to create a safe and calm environment, where the child will feel comfortable during the learning process and more willing to use and learn the language without fear.

Culture
It is as important to teach Spanish as it is to teach the culture in which it is spoken.
We introduce your child to the Spanish-speaking culture in a fun way, awakening their curiosity and interest in the
language.
We talk about music and dance, typical food, festivals, traditions and much more.

How do we work with your child?

I will be interacting with your child throughout the whole session, motivating him/her, involving him/her
in the lesson and helping him/her to actively use the language. I strive to make sure that my student is active throughout the class, speaking and interacting in the language.
Every kid is different. I adapt the activities to your child, the content he/she needs to reinforce, and his/her pace of
learning. I also take into account his/her level in the language and his/her interests, so that he/she feels identified and motivated.
All our methodology is focused on your child feeling confident using Spanish and wanting to communicate. That he/she loses fear. That he/she doesn’t get frustrated, that he/she feels like expressing him/herself in Spanish!
I work to build a close personal relationship with all my pupils. I strive for the child to create a relationship of trust, friendship, respect and understanding with me. This relationship is crucial to me and we work on it every day in every single lesson.
One of our goals is for your child to be able to communicate in Spanish, in real situations.
If you are going on holiday to Spain, he/she will be eager to be the one to ask for the ice cream of the flavour he/she likes!
- We focus on activities and exercises where the child learns to use Spanish in situations close to his/her world.
- Your child will realise all the uses he/she can make of Spanish and will be eager to use it.
- He/She will learn to cope in the situations around him/her and we will help them to lose their fear of the language.
